Download a sketch sheet and prepare a sketch of the house extension you require together with photos of the property (see Guidelines and our example sketches below).

Proceed to planning, select your product and make an initial payment to allow you to upload your sketches and photos.

Note: Sketches and photos can be faxed or posted to Plans Made Easy for upload to your account.

An initial drawing and 3D image will be prepared and uploaded to your account for your approval. Notification will be sent to you by email.

Note: You can revise and resubmit your sketches until your are satisfied with the design and layout.

After accepting the initial drawing you will proceed to make an interim payment. An interactive measurement plan will then be prepared and uploaded to your account for completion by you online.

Remember, you can call at any stage of the design process for assistance.

For an additional fee you can request the measurements to be undertaken by a Plans Made Easy agent.

On receipt of the measurement plan we will prepare a preliminary drawing which will be uploaded to your secure account for approval.

Note: You have the opportunity to make a one-time free amendment if you decide to re-design your layout at this stage. Any further re-designs may attract a charge of £25.00.
 

On receipt of your final payment, Plans Made Easy will take your preliminary plan and work it up to a final plan which is Local Authority compliant for submission. You will also be provided with a location plan and ordinance survey map which is required for your planning application submission. Electronic copies will be available for you to download from your secure account and a hard copy of the drawings will be sent to you in the post.

When making the final payment you have the option to pay an additional fee. For this, Plans Made Easy will submit your detailed planning application, liaise with the planners and keep you updated with the progress of your application.
