How To MeasureBefore you start, make sure you have: A TAPE MEASURE - we suggest a 5 metre tape as a minimum. A PENCIL OR PEN. A PRINT OUT OF THE INTERACTIVE PLANS. To make it easy for you, all the dimesions required are shown on the interactive plan. So all you have to do is record all the measurements on the print out and input them back into the interactive plan on your computer. You can use millimetres (mm), centimetres (cm) or metres (m). All that we ask is that you use the same unit of measurement for all dimensions. If your worried about taking the measurements yourself then you can always book a Plans Made Easy agent to come out and take the measurements for you. Alternatively, ask a friend to help you - the interactive measurement plan has been designed to make measuring your property an easy process. See below an example of a completed interactive plan.
